One of the best components of our toys is this unique black rubber handle, my favorite grip ever. (I've never seen a flogger with anything similar anywhere else!)
It's made from recycled rubber, 65% post-consumer(!!) waste: tires, etc. And the grip is tire-tread-style. Very cushiony-- substantial and grippy-- comfortable to hold, and easy to hang on to. Nice for any flogger (or bokken or chin-up bar or whatever), it's especially luxurious for a heavy one and of a length well-suited to shortish tails-- and so particularly nice with the chain floggers.
Mmm, I love these things-- even though I can only get them retail :^(
They match the between-matte-and-glossy rubber well. They're a great foil for bead-chain, both visually and conceptually-- very industrial, kind of biker, terribly butch.
